Updates – Still Writing

It’s been several months since I have written actively on this page. I plan to change that.

We are entering a new year, and even more importantly a new decade. In the coming weeks I will be writing more on the topic of resolutions. But for now, I want to share with you some updates.

I may not have been writing on this blog site, but I am still writing. My job allows me to public speak on the regular, which means I am constantly writing new material for work. I love this. It is a wonderful avenue for writing. In the same vein, I am writing for websites such as Devotable (devotableapp.com), which is an online resource for Christians and supplies them with a devotion 3-5 times a week. I am also working hard on putting together real plans for a book in the future.

But in the meantime, what I have been missing over the previous months is getting the space to write for the purpose of discovery and expression. I miss writing and sharing my journey. Although sometimes the way I go about this is less straightforward than an average blog post.

Sometimes I write free-form poetry. Other times I may write stories, similar to that of a parable. Other times, I may just share a stupid story or joke. Either way, I want to broaden what One/Seven will be in the coming months and year.

Therefore, in the new year I am committing to a more consistent flow of work. This will include at least one post every week. Now, what I will post will be a bit different than before and will delve into stories, poetry, comedy, and even more religious work.

I want to thank you for continuing to read and follow. 2020 is going to be the beginning of some great things. I look forward to writing about it.
